Luncheon: Stephanie Springs, CEO of Make-A-Wish Illinois

Stephanie has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Make-A-Wish Illinois since 2005, where the focus has been to sustainably increase revenue and resources to enable the fulfillment of the vision to grant the wish of every eligible child.  While bringing extensive corporate leadership experience, Stephanie also brings a wealth of community and cultural volunteer leadership having served on Boards of the Oak Park Education Foundation, the YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago, the Chicago Sinfonietta and several Girl Scout Councils.  She remains active with the Oak Park Education Foundation.

Prior to joining Make-A-Wish Illinois, Stephanie spent 30 years at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in various leadership roles in their corporate information technology area, as the Executive Director of the Sears Roebuck Foundation, leading the company’s diversity efforts, and finally as the Vice President of Information Technology Business Management. 

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Math and Education from the University of Illinois in Champaign and an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago. Stephanie has served in numerous volunteer positions for Make-A-Wish at the national level and was elected by the Category 1 chapters to a term on the Leadership Council Leadership Team effective October 23, 2015.
