ROTARY/One History

The Rotary Club of Chicago was founded on February 23, 1905.  Leaders of the club went on to establish Rotary International in 1910.  Paul Harris, Rotary's founder, became the first international president and Ches Perry, of ROTARY/One became the first general secretary of the newly formed international office.   The Rotary Club of Chicago, operating as ROTARY/One, the world's first service club, has for 112 years remained dedicated to the Rotary Movement and its continued growth to over 200 countries. ...FOR MORE ABOUT ROTARY'S HISTORY PLEASE CLICK HERE.
